Cowgirl Relics came to life as a hobby and a dream. Wanting a creative outlet to occupy my free time and allow me to create my own fashionable western accessories, I taught myself to bead, stamp, work wire, and more. It has morphed into a passion of infusing my wide range (which is really an understatement) of life interests and styles into versatile pieces of hand-crafted jewelry and accessories. My love of horses, antiques, family and friends, the American West, the great outdoors, fly fishing, Texas country music, Americana, jazz, sports, my Texas roots, nature, all things turquoise, and much more can be seen in glimpses throughout the items I create. I am also a firm believer in each woman's inner feminine strength; and that within each of us lies a cowgirl....the epitome of a double-edged sword....full of grit AND grace.
